More Knitting

Poncho is done and blocked.  Even put it in an envelope to be mailed to Southern Illinois for the the little girl who was born the same day as Birdie.

Yarn:  Berrocco Comfort
Pattern:  My own (I know, sorry)

Knit Picks Felici in Tyrian Purple.  So pretty and nice to knit with!  Almost done with the first sock.  I tried two at a time but gave up because it was too fiddly and just not fun.  Maybe next time.

I love the colors and the yarn is really nice to work with.

I am utterly amazed at how quickly I have been knitting.

  1. I just got myself some Felici in a different colorway, and I'm really excited to see how that knit up so stripily! I can't wait to try it myself.

  2. Poncho... what a great idea! I'm going to have to keep that in mind the next time I have a little one to knit for.

  3. What a happy poncho, and don't worry about false starts with two at a time. It took me several tries and Magic Loop to make it happen. (Two balls of yarn and four needle tips was too much for my addled brain, but two and two? I manage...)

  4. Lovely poncho and socks! I agree with you about the two-at-a-time thing. The level of frustration isn't worth it.

  5. Ooooh, socks with purple in them, my fave! :)

I prefer to do my sock one at a time on 2 circs. I get frustrated with 2 balls of yarn getting twisted up....
