So, I was looking over the Knitty guidelines (I should shoot for the moon, why not?)...and one cannot so much as post a photo of her finished work before submitting to Knitty. So, this hoodie pattern will go on Ravelry.
I am about 1/3 of the way done writing up the pattern. I have taken some photos. I am also going to make another one to make sure that the pattern is accurate (plus there's another adopted baby coming along we don't know when for some other friends). I love the gayby boom, it makes me smile.
Today I will gift the orange hoodie. For some reason, I thought I had a toggle button at home, but I was unable to find it. So, I ended up going to Joann's after work last night and waited in line for 30 minutes. I would not normally do such a thing, but I really wanted to finish this garment and move it on to its new owner.
My next pattern, I think, will need to stay mum. I'd really like to submit to Knitty and see how that goes. Fun fun fun. Plus, my photos of this one are not the best on earth...it's all about practice.
Can't wait to see this one on that adorable little baby boy.

what a beautiful hoodie!
ReplyDeleteI do love the color.
That is a beautiful sweater--I'll bet it could have gone on Knitty! Good luck with the next one too!
ReplyDeleteLove the hoodie! You are so talented. I can barely manage to follow a pattern...
ReplyDeleteThat's a great hoodie! Sorry about Knitty!!
ReplyDeleteI love the hoodie, even if you can't put this one on Knitty. We'll get you there sooner than you think!
