Yarny Update

Oooh oooh, lookie look!

This is the yarn from etsy I posted about a few posts back. It is so nice to work with. The color is a little darker than in the pics, but I really like it. It's a nice deep orange, kettle dye (my newest obsession) 100% superwash merino.

I currently have two projects going, no, three. This one, the baby hoodie in orange, the February Lady for a September Lady which I had to frog because it's just too big for her, and the picot edging on my mom's socks (just one sock, the second sock). Good on me, right?

Well, I have also decided that the Tomato I made for me needs to be frogged. It's too big. There's a theme here. I made things too big. I think ease and I go a little nuts. I think I think everything in the world is bigger than it really is. But that's a discussion for another time.

  1. That yarn is really pretty!

I used to have that size problem. My measurements say I need to do a size M, but every time I do, it ends up WAY to big. So now, no matter what my measurements say I go with the S size....

  3. that is some pretty yarn. I always love to cake it up. I'm having size issues too - making things too big is nice means we are shrinking, but man is it frustrating to knit the same garments more than once! g
