Hat Attack II

I am knitting a hat pattern from Hat Attack 2, as fast as I can so I can mail it to Bozeman, MT and "assassinate" my "target" -- I'm not going to lie to you and say I like all the threats and wartime metaphors.

I do like the pattern though. It is a lot of fun.

I'm making my hat with yarn I had in stash since my order from Woodland Woolens seems to have floated away in some flood somewhere (they mailed it September 8th Priority Mail from Oregon). I emailed them and they asked me to be patient. I am trying to be patient, but I have to make my target's hat from non-Therapi yarn and I'm bummed about it. Hopefully, it will come eventually...

Must go knit.

ETA: decided that the yarns I was using do not work, plus, in Chicago Sarah's words, it is one "fugly hat" -- I agree. Pics will follow but I have to knit. I'm still in it...the mail didn't bring a hat to me so I'm going to knit and mail by Monday (Goddess of Knitting willing).

  1. Thanks, Wendy. I've frogged that one and started another one with different yarn...not out yet, but still another mail day this week. Oye.

  2. Knit knit knit! I'm here drinking wine and knitting the blanket (figured it is more foregiving than the sweater if I'm having a glass or two). :)
