Whiskers on Wednesday

Georgie LOVES to go outside. But when he does, he then gets himself into trouble by eating grass then puking it back up when he gets inside. EVERY time he goes out.

I don't think he is aware of this pattern and will not likely change it without some serious human intervention.

Our plan is to sit him down with Gracie, Ruthie and Idgie, to tell him how his behavior is affecting us. Problem is that there is not a grass eating rehab for kitties.

  1. Oh Georgie! Surely there is a twelve-step program. He can't be the only kitty out there in the grips of a grass addiction!

  2. He'll tell you he can quit any time he wants to. Just keep letting him know that admitting you have a problem is the first step... ;)

  3. I'm very lucky that the boys who go out do not come in to puke. Sissy is my puker. She can eat and right up it comes, Pia loves this second round of dinner

Jasmine continues to eat the house plants & throw them up... go figure!

  5. I was always told that cats eat grass to induce throwing up because their stomach was upset. Maybe this is a myth!

  9. Poor Georgie. My Hobbs loves to eat grass and does not puke it up - I grow it indoors for him.
