Look, She Looks Like a Puppy Again (5/31/08)
For those of you who have been following the Gracie saga, we have good news to report. Miss Gracie's proteins are almost (1/10th of a point away) from normal range! If you recall, at her sickest we were 2.2 points away from normal.
Her fur is growing back, very soft and puppy like, and curlier than I remember it. Her energy level is great, almost like a puppy but appropriate for the 6 year old golden girl that she is.
One more month on the higher dose of the immunosuppressive meds and then - as long as the numbers still look good - we will work to find the lowest appropriate maintenance dose.
