Knitting Update

I have made some serious headway on my Tomato. The neckline is way too low for me and I'm thinking I don't want to frog the 6 rows plus that I'd need to frog if I were to rework the neckline higher up...

So, with a little Maizy in the Hot Step colorway, I am going to knit a 2" by 8" lace-like panel to the finished sweater. I already started knitting it and really kind of like the Maizy though it is a little "splitty." I will have to tempt you with just a photo of the Maizy (which you have seen before)...

~~~~~~~~~~ Contest Update ~~~~~~~~~~
Do you all know about wiknit.blogspot.com ? This blog has listings of knitting contests. How cool is that?! Evergreen Knits also has a Green Knitter website which is a guide to eco-friendly fibers. Such great information. Her blog is Evergreen Knits, right here on blogspot, people.
Just a few more days left for the contest...I will pick the funniest one based on the laughs I get from Lehu. We'll call it the Lehu Laugh-O-Meter. The most referrals will be easy to count...
Happy Monday!
  2. What a fab idea to add a lace panel to the sweater! I sent my Hot Sauce partner two skeins of the Maizy. I can't wait to see what she does with it....
    Thanks for the websites! I love new places to troll! They have been duly added to my favorites!
    Lehu laugh meter.....I like!
