Dogs on Thursday & SOTSii Update

Not very far on SOTSii from my last post. I had to tink the middle section and - well - it was a little tedious. I will pick it back up today and continue forth. I am on the 4th clue (1/3 of the way, about). Go me!

As for Dogs on Thursday. Gracie, err, uh "The Diva" is doing much better these days. We are doing an elimination diet at this point and we've learned that she is allergic to flax seeds. Let me tell ya, commercial dog foods have a lot of extra stuff in them that Miss Gracie cannot have.

I have a trip to a specialty dog food store planned for sometime today, they are near to where I work (actually there are two, but one is a nicer place). I will go in and have a chat and learn what I can from them.

The top pic is from 2/27 (her 6th birthday), the other one is from yesterday.

Happy Dogs on Thursday!

  3. I feed my Jazzy "Wellness" cat food, she has a sensitive tummy & can't keep regular food down. They have dog food too. Here is a link to their website: http://www.wellnesspetfood.com/
Most specialty pet stores carry it. Maybe it is one you could consider...

  5. Mosby chews his feet a lot and I've wondered if it is an allergy. Have thought about switching to a specialty food but just don't know which one I want to go to. Hope your store gives give advice. That would be very helpful.

  8. Cute pics! Gracie is so sweet. It is amazing how much cr*p there is in dog food. Not sure how this would work for Gracie's special needs, but we switched Frisky to Innova a few months back and he is a much happier pup. Good luck finding the right one for your girl :)
