I am a Knitter-come-lately, I will admit. I've been crocheting and knitting in secrecy for most of my life and suddenly the proverbial Knitterly Closet doors have opened and I have found the glory in many projects.
My friend Mandy once said to me, I used to do other crafts but now it's mostly knitting. I am seeing how that can happen.
I just joined Secrets of the Stole II, at the suggestion of Betty who had it posted on her blog this week. I am going to finish up the holiday projects and get geared up to try this lace thing all the gals (and guys) are talking about. It's like peer pressure, all the cool Knitters are doing it...who says I should be limited to socks & sweaters...hats and mittens...
No, I am eager to try this lace thing. I am looking forward to ordering my Addi Turbos in the correct size (once the project materials list is released). It is a yahoo group, and also there is a group on Ravelry.
Oh, have a mentioned that I LOVE Ravelry?
Here's some new stash that will very soon become a lovely ruffle-edged scarf for one of Lehu's (and therefore my) nieces.
I know that SOMEONE will really like the name of this yarn...I know I do.

You're going to love lace knitting. In fact, it's addictive :)
ReplyDeletePeer pressure....there's a lot of that going around.
ReplyDeleteDriving Miss Daisy......can't wait to see what the FO looks like.
Peer pressure? I'm still on scarves. Shoot, I'm always behind on peer pressure...
