15% Discounts Make Yarn Diet Challenging

I have been contemplating the Mandy Yarn Diet. I have. And, I have been following it. Does sock yarn count?

Sarah, my precious friend who buys awesome yarn and pets it like the Harlot does her special stash -- as if her Debbie Bliss Cashmerino in lovely pastel colors were living beings -- has led me astray. She followed the instructions for Jimmy Beans Wool (one of my fave online shops) and I got a 15% discount. So...I had to get SOMETHING.

Here's what I got:

2 balls of Sock Yarn
2 sets of circulars to try a pattern suggested by a dear reader.

I showed great restraint. I am very proud of myself.

And... now for the photos I promised.

You will love, love, let me repeat, love that yarn. I had to get myself some more after I amde the Harlot socks because it is just so beautiful.

I can't wait to see how they go for you!
