3. get to share stuff you have done to people and find people who actually care and give you positive feedback
4. it's an excuse to make up funny words to describe the people in your life (in the name of anonymity of course)
5. push yourself to write more often (and to try to be interesting).
6. to get crazy spam comments, just for laughs
7. to promote great ideas and connection with other people
8. because it's cool to be a geek in the Internet age
