I'm okay, really. However, I ended up frogging the entirety of the sock I completed at the Christmas Spectacular - ly LONG concert on Saturday. On Sunday, I started trying a new pattern for the heel of the sock and it just went horribly horribly wrong.
As a means for regaining my nearly shattered confidence, I decided I needed to make a couple of cute, little, easy projects. Mr. Georgie was very interested in Birdie's mini stocking. Aww, such a cute boy.
The little hat ornament is from leftover Austerman Step sock yarn...I think tonight I'll make a little stocking cap. I am also seriously considering another mini stocking...I have come up with some ideas to make what is cute even cuter.
It was a LONG day today at work, so an evening of knitting sounds just about right.

I'm sorry to hear that you frogged the sock. It was looking good from what I could see in the picture, but I know that it is a much different story in person.
ReplyDeleteI love the pictures. Pets are so much fun. Sassy has been "assisting" me with some footies that I have been knitting with Rowan Cashcotton. I think that she likes the way that the yarn feels.
I can't wait to see what pattern you pick next for the socks....I'm still waiting for the yarn to be delivered for mine...
